Who Are MyCommunity Rounders
MyCommunity Rounders is the heart of the movement — a not-for-profit social enterprise created to ensure everyone has access to the joy, connection, and well-being that rounders brings. While MyRounders is a fast-growing adult social sport league built on a sustainable business model, MyCommunity Rounders exists to go further, deeper, and wider — reaching people who would never otherwise pick up a bat.
The Plan
Set up inclusive programmes such as:
- Walking Rounders for older adults or injury rehab
- Blind & VI Rounders adapted for vision-impaired players
- Disability Rounders designed with SEND settings
- Youth & School Rounders for young people
Attend and support local events bringing bats, balls, and a friendly coach to community days, school fêtes, well-being festivals and public health pop-ups
Pilot and grow access focused formats of rounders for mental health recovery groups, housing associations, carers, and underrepresented ethnic communities
Train volunteers and create jobs building local capacity with empathy led coaching and delivery roles that reflect the communities they serve
Work with partners in public health, social prescribing, education, and community development to use rounders as a catalyst for belonging and joy
